A recently retook Jung's Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator test. I think it's pretty spot on and I want to share.

I originally took the test before entering college, and recevied - ENTJ : Extraverted, intuitive, thinking, judging - which equates to the professional executives and leaders.

I thought that was a pretty cool result, but I've gone through alot of changes in college and decided to retake the test. I read that your type can change a bit as young adult, and then tends to steady out as life progresses.

When I retook the test yesterday, I received - ENTP : Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving - which are the nonconforming inventors of the matrix.

I think this is pretty spot on to my inclinations these days, and here are some summarizes of the results I've found online.

I ran some google searches, and these were some of the results.

Extraverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving
by Marina Margaret Heiss
Profile: ENTP
Revision: 3.1
Date of Revision: 28 Feb 2011

"Clever" is the word that perhaps describes ENTPs best. The professor who juggles half a dozen ideas for research papers and grant proposals in his mind while giving a highly entertaining lecture on an abstruse subject is a classic example of the type. So is the stand-up comedian whose lampoons are both funny and incisively accurate.

ENTPs are usually verbally as well as cerebrally quick, and generally love to argue--both for its own sake, and to show off their debating skills. ENTPs tend to have a perverse sense of humor as well, and enjoy playing devil's advocate. This sometimes confuses, even angers, those who don't understand or accept the concept of argument as a sport.

ENTPs are as innovative and ingenious at problem-solving as they are at verbal gymnastics; on occasion, however, they manage to outsmart themselves. ENTPs can be prone to "sharp practice" – especially cutting corners without regard to the rules if it's expedient – or, their juggling acts may simply be so over-ambitious they collapse.

Both at work and at home, ENTPs are very fond of "toys" -- physical or intellectual, the more sophisticated the better. Once these have been "solved" or become too familiar, however, they’ll be replaced with new ones.

ENTPs are basically optimists, but in spite of this (perhaps because of it?), they can become petulant about small setbacks and inconveniences. (Major setbacks they regard as challenges, and tackle with determination.) ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this. In general, however, they are genial, even charming, when not being harassed by life.

In terms of their relationships with others, ENTPs are capable of bonding very closely and suddenly with their loved ones. Some appear deceptively offhand with their nearest and dearest; others are so demonstrative that they succeed in shocking co-workers who've only seen their professional side. ENTPs are also quick to spot a kindred spirit, and good at acquiring friends of similar temperament and interests.

ENTPs may sometimes give the impression of being largely oblivious to the rest of humanity except as an audience: good, bad, or potential. In general this is unfair – but it can be difficult to get an ENTP’s attention when they’re not immediately aware of you, especially for an Introvert.
The best approach in communicating with an ENTP is to be straightforward. No games – they’ll win. No "pulling rank" – they’ll just want to put you in your place. No apologies – you’ll undermine yourself. Try "I need/want to talk to you."

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs : An Overview

Doing a lot of research, preparing my notes, and consolidating my thoughts before I launch full scale on December 8. Here are some notes straight from Wikipedia.

Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
Motivators and Deficiency Needs
*1943 paper – “A Theory of Human Motivation”, extended for human curiosity
*Developmental psychology – stages of human growth
*Studied exemplary people rather than the mentally ill
            * Healthiest 1% of college student population
* Full theory in 1954 book Motivation and Personality
* Bottom most layers most fundamental
* Bottom 4 layers “Deficiency needs”
            * Physiological deficiencies may be physically apparent
* If Esteem, Friendship and Love, Security, and Physical Needs not met, may lead to anxiety and tension in the individual’s life
* Basic needs must be met for the individual to desire and/or focus their motivation toward higher needs
* Metamotivation – goes beyond scope of basic needs to constantly pursue self-betterment
* Needs may overlap, not seen as boxed in but relative, general, and primary
            * Certain needs may dominate motivation
* Motivations can be codependent on different levels of needs, but pyramid outlines primary structural levels

Physiological Needs
Metabolic, Environmental
* Physical needs for human survival
* Metabolic requirements – Air, Water, Food
* Clothing and Shelter to protect from External Environment
* Sexual instinct and competition to maintain the species’ birth rates

Safety Needs
Personal, Financial, Health
* Absence of physical safety can lead to post-traumatic stress disorder and transgenerational trauma
            * Due to war, natural disaster, family violence, childhood abuse, etc.
* Absence of economic safety can lead to seeking out security through multiple or various channels
* Job security, worker’s protection of rights, savings, insurance, disability accommodations, etc.
* Children possess heightened need for safety
* Needs Include:
* Personal security, financial security, health and well-being, safety net against accidents, illness, and their adverse impacts

Love and Belonging Needs
Family, Friends, Intimacy
* Interpersonal connections and feeling of belonging
* Can override need for safety
            * Abusive Relationships, Gang and Substitute “Families”
*Need especially strong in children
* Manifest in emotionally significant relationships
            * Family
            * Friends
            * Intimacy
* Neglect, Shunning, Ostracism, isolation, and severe illness can hinder
* Human need to love and be loved, sexually and non-sexually
* Negative Effects of Deficiency Include:
            * Loneliness, social anxiety, clinical depression
* Need may be overcome by physiological or safety needs depending on strength of peer pressure

Esteem Needs
External Respect and Internal Esteem
* Human need to feel respected, accepted, and valued
* Manifested in self-esteem and self-respect
* Sense of value or contribution can come from a variety of sources
* Professional network, community work, social status, public awards and/or recognition
* Low Esteem can lead to inferiority complexes
            * Overt or covert, can lead individual to seek approval through fame or glory
            * Psychological imbalances, like depression, can hinder a positive self-view
* Lower and Higher version of self-esteem
            * Lower – Need for respect from others
                        * Status, recognition, fame, prestige, attention
            * Higher – Need for self-respect & takes precedence
                        * Strength, competence, mastery, self-confidence, independence, freedom
                        * Deprivation leads to inferiority complex, weakness, helplessness
* Interrelated with other needs, not exclusive

Realizing Full Potential
* “What a man can be, he must be.” – Maslow
* Degree of realization of one’s full potential
* To accomplish all that you can must be all that you can be
* Specificity of need varies between individuals
            * Must master previous levels to fully reach this peak of self-actualization

Spiritual Motivation for Higher Connection
* Spiritual dimension of personality
* Individual who seeks to transcend boundaries of ideal self

Criticisms of Maslow’s Model
Evidential Support and Variance
* Sparse evidentiary support of definitive levels or ranking of hierarchies
* Adjustments for poverty, and varying ethnocentric bases & influence
* Difference between social and intellectual needs
* Structured to individualistic society, may not account for collectivism
* Terminology used by Maslow
* Usage of sex in basal level
            * Speaks to individualistic motives
            * Disregards emotional, familial, and community implications

The Role of Circumstance
Culture, Resources, and Current Events
* Not universal, and may vary due to circumstance
* War time vs. Peace time
* Resources by Country and Region
* Self-described ranking of needs and levels vary by survey
* US Peace Time: Survival (physiological, safety) & Psychological (love, self-esteem, self-actualization)
* US War Time: Physiological, Safety, & Psychological (social, self-esteem, self-actualization)
* Needs vary across cultures
            * Unique, Dynamic, and Changing
* Differences by Age Group
            * Children have high physical needs
            * Childhood to young adult love need strong
            * Esteem needs highest among adolescents
            * Young Adults highest self-actualization needs
            * Old Age highest levels of security needs
* Social desirability for needs may affect the expression of the motivation

Gemini Thoughts

To understand myself, I find it important to study my experiences, mistakes, and successes to learn from everything and live with no regrets. I'm also fascinated by how different studies such as astrology describe behavior they believe I'm predisposed to. I do not think my destiny is set by these standards, but I believe they may be indicative of behaviors I'm inclined to. I have been able to recognize the incredibly close correlation between the personality traits of my birth chart and my personal motivators and feelings. I also believe I have the power to shape my own destiny with every decision I make.  So by making myself aware of behaviors I'm prone to but don't want to emulate, I can pay  attention to those behaviors, internalize the behaviors I need to change, and then actively decide my actions, shape my perception, reality, and the results of my actions.

Gemini woman is a very interesting, versatile and smart person. At first sight, it is impossible to guess what kind of lady is she - the character is too elusive, weightless and dual. She knows that she has many abilities and talents, and is confident that on Earth she has a much higher purpose than other mortals, and always tries to find her proper place in life, jumping from one to another. The Gemini woman is very restless and fussy, she does not like activities that require prolonged concentration and a lot of time and effort. She is constantly searching, and this makes her to look for a work she loves whenever she is bored with an old one.

Gemini woman is a lucky person because this is almost the only representative of the zodiacal circle, who, without regret or superfluous memories of the bad in her life, may part with her past. She is very romantic, her soul, which seeks to guard & protect her against ill-effects from the outside, is very gentle and vulnerable. Gemini woman can have very strong passion towards her partner, if he interests and captivates her. It is impossible to predict Gemini woman's behavior, she needs to be accepted for what she really is so as not to cause scandals and intrigues. She easily dreams and fantasizes, and moreover, her fantasies are always imbued with romanticism and sublime bliss. She strives to be ideal, and sometimes just does not notice what is going on with her here and now.

The Gemini woman loves and knows how to chat with people. She can succeed in an activity that involves extensive communication, organization of events and negotiations with partners. Frequent changes of her moods may discourage others: a moment ago, she happily laughed and had fun, and now she is sad and worried, is afraid of something and does not want to talk with anyone. Gemini woman does not like pressure on herself. She always walks away from a relationship in which she is being compelled to follow "the right path". Her partner who wants to keep her near him needs to take this into account.

The Gemini woman, thanks to her outstanding intellect, can be not only a good wife but also a friend and helpmate to her husband - she always gives very practical and wise advice, and her criticisms will help do things well. She will never be a "home" wife who fully obeys her husband, and lay career at his feet - this representative of the zodiacal circle will perfectly combine her own career with caring for the family, and she cannot be persuaded to stay at home, because communication and work is her life, nothing more, nothing less.

If the Gemini woman will in life search for her ideal man - she may forever remain single. This woman sees good qualities in a partner and would be very grateful for his good attitude and love towards her, but will always compare him with her ideal man, and find inconsistencies. Despite variability, Gemini woman can be very attached to her man only if he interests her as a man, fun-filled and active. Once the Gemini woman starts to be disappointed in the relationship, she may walk away from it for new ones, if she meets a better man on her way. Very often, Gemini woman falls in love with two men at the same time, and for a long time cannot make a choice between them. With time, she will become more steady and calmer, but will never get rid of the passion to travel, change, become better and communicate more widely.

RISING SUN is in 11 Degrees VIRGO
You are supercritical about how you appear to others. Even though you may think you are uninteresting and dull, you are actually quite soft-spoken, orderly, neat and very likable. You are a perfectionist with high standards, and at times you can be quite tactless in pointing out the faults of others. Very practical, efficient and purposeful, your appearance and bearing reflect your need to appear graceful, sensible and reserved. You have a crisp, no-nonsense approach to dealing with others. Never lazy or self-indulgent, you tend to be dedicated to the work ethic.

SUN is in 24 Degrees GEMINI
You have a quick, bright and agile mind, but an extremely short attention span. You love the external, kaleidoscopic aspects of life, but you tend to avoid (and even fear) deep, close emotional involvements. As such, you seem to enjoy travel and sightseeing and generally being "on-the-go." You get quite listless when things around you become static and dull, but your excitement returns whenever you are stimulated by a new idea. Chatty, inquisitive and quite playful, you enjoy practical jokes and games in general. Your moods change quickly and often -- you are very restless and constantly in motion. You are known for your versatility and adaptability. Your vivaciousness enlivens any social gathering.

MOON is in 19 Degrees PISCES
You have strong feelings and are extremely sensitive. It would help if you had a thicker skin -- you tend to react emotionally to every situation you come across. Kind, gentle and considerate of the feelings of others, you are good at taking care of the sick, wounded and helpless. But you tend to absorb the energy of others -- so avoid those who are always negative. You have a rich, creative and lively imagination, but you should be careful not to spend all your time daydreaming. Very intuitive, you have good ESP and may be quite clairvoyant or psychic. Remember that you too have the right to get what you want from life. If you are always defensive and kowtowing to others, people will take advantage of you and exploit you.

MERCURY is in 06 Degrees GEMINI
Your mind is active, quick and agile. You are very restless and you get bored easily. Unless you receive constant mental stimulation, you become extremely nervous and begin to act in an unstable manner. You are probably a good student because of your natural inquisitiveness. You also love to travel. Your learning tends to be superficial, though, because you have a relatively short attention span. Try to develop the mental discipline to finish what you start. Also, you tend to talk on at times seemingly just to fill space -- make sure that your conversation has some substance to it or others will start avoiding you.

VENUS is in 19 Degrees TAURUS
You are known to be a warm and affectionate person, and you tend to form long-lasting attachments. The reverse of this is that you can also be quite possessive once you have made a commitment. The beauty, luxury and comfort of your surroundings are important to you and you will devote much time and energy to making your home just right. Beware of your tendency toward self-indulgence, especially with respect to eating incorrectly. You also need outside stimuli to get you in gear. When things come too easily for you, you can be lazy and indolent.

MARS is in 11 Degrees ARIES
You are very independent and self-assertive, and you have lots of physical energy. You are not satisfied unless you can be the first to do something. As such, you are more comfortable in leadership positions than you are as an underling. When you are challenged by anyone for anything, you delight in the competitive process and will fight long and hard for your beliefs. You are bold and courageous and often act without thinking. At times, in your zeal to get ahead, you are tactless and offensive -- learn that cooperation with others can often bring you nearer to your goals quicker because of the support you will get.

 JUPITER is in 15 Degrees CANCER
You must be emotionally secure in order to grow and develop. You are happiest when your family and community support and nourish you and boost your morale. Whether your childhood experiences of love and emotional dependability were positive or negative will set the tone for your emotional growth and stability as an adult. When you feel at ease with yourself, you are able to offer assistance to those who need a helping hand.

SATURN is in 24 Degrees CAPRICORN
Very serious-minded and mature, you have the ability to take on responsibilities and to carry out important duties. You can also be trusted to be extremely practical and thrifty. A good organizer, you are the ideal one to be counted on to take a clearly defined project through to its logical conclusion. An achiever, you pride yourself on your ability to focus your attention totally on some worthy goal and then attain it.

URANUS is in 08 Degrees CAPRICORN
You, and your peer group as well, seek out practical solutions to a changing society's attitudes to customs, traditions and authority structures. Your logical and orderly manner of dealing with these matters will result in permanent and carefully planned, but sweeping, reforms.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
NEPTUNE is in 13 Degrees CAPRICORN
You, and your entire generation, will idealize work, practicality and the ability to attain reasonable goals. But, because you will also stress the need to be selfless and giving, you may find it difficult to attain your goals unless you have lowered your expectations on all fronts.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
PLUTO is in 15 Degrees SCORPIO
For your entire generation, this is a period of intense research and discovery in areas that were heretofore considered mysterious, remote or taboo. The root causes for many complex occurrences will be unearthed due to the intensity and thoroughness of the search.

 N. NODE is in 08 Degrees AQUARIUS
As long as someone else (or a group or organization) appeals to your intellectual sensibilities, you'll try to ally yourself with them in some way. You may find that you always seem to get involved with many wide-ranging groups -- so much so that you find it difficult to fit them all into your busy schedule. Your many friends and acquaintances provide you with needed stimulation. You're loyal and fair-minded -- you try to spend time equally with all your friends, never concentrating on just one or two for any length of time. Although probably quite conservative yourself, you're attracted to those who are a bit offbeat or eccentric -- you enjoy watching their minds work.

Know What You’re Working With

Binary Coding (0's and 1's) in specific ordering and sequences codes for computer processing
·         Code is processed to be interpreted as graphics or audio
·         Using Binary - command > encoded > decoded > response
Deoxyribonucleic acid (Also known as DNA) [] Uses a code of 4 proteins (A, T, C, & G)
·         Proteins decode and connect sequences of 3 to corresponding proteins
·         Sequence in which the proteins are assembled gives it a 3 Dimensional shape
Moment to Moment Decisions (Yes and No)
·         Determines the shape in which our 3 Dimensional selves travel through the 4th Dimension of time

* Perception determines an individual’s reality
* If you can control your perception, you can construct your reality
* The physical world of matter exists as a fact
* What we understand as the world is based on how we perceive and respond to things that physically exist in the 3rd Dimension as we interact with them moving in the 4th Dimension of time
* We’re aware of things we engage with through one of our 5 physical senses

·         Eyes receive light reflected off objects
·         The structure of molecules and proteins determines how much light is absorbed or cast off
·         Light is cast off in a spectrum that is recognizable by the human eye as different colors
·         Rods and Cones in the back of the eyeball respond to light stimuli and encode the messages to our brain to interpret what shapes and colors we see at various distances
·         The nose responds to particles and molecules with unique shapes as they travel through the atmosphere we breathe in
·         These particles connect with receptors in the nose which causes a chemical reaction our brain recognizes as smell
·         Smell is particularly useful in determining the healthiness of raw food, but through conditioning we learn to associate smells with something we do or do not like such as an item, our environment, on another person
·         As our teeth break up food, saliva breaks down the food to be ingested
·         Different areas of the tongue respond to sweet, salty, or sour molecules
·         Spicy particles lock on to all of the taste buds on the tongue
·         Biologically this tells us what’s good or not to eat by both taste an temperature, which can stop you from ingesting something harmful
·         Atoms make molecules, which make macromolecules and organelles, which make up cells, which make up tissues, which make up organs, which make up organ systems
·         Skin is an organ system, which is embedded with nerves that are sensitive to pressure and heat
·         Certain areas like the lips are specialized tissue which have a heightened sensitivity
·         The immediate trigger from the nerves to the brain can operate seemingly unconsciously and bypass the cognitive system in response to a strong negative stimuli, like setting your hand on a burner, and your body immediately reacts to move away from the dangerous or unfavorable situation
·         The chemical release associated with feelings we enjoy conditions us over time to prolong or repeat those experiences to renew the feeling
·         As 3 Dimensional objects move through the 4th Dimension of time, the motion of their movement creates energy waves being expelled outward
·         Within certain ranges of frequencies our ears can pick up these sounds
·         That is, if the 3 Dimensional object moves or collides fast enough, but not too fast, it is audible
·         The size and strength in which these sound waves move hit our ears and are muffled through hair follicles that protect the inner ear. Then they enter the ear drums where they are chemically encoded to be recognized by our brain as a distinct pitch, frequency, and volume

·         We rely on any combination of our 5 senses to tell our brain what we see, hear, taste, touch, and feel
·         We are constantly being fed stimuli, and cannot pay attention to all of it
·         When one of our senses is inhibited or lessened, we put more emphasis and energy into the channels of our other senses, making them stronger
·         Consciously or subconsciously we focus on stimuli we deem important and pay less attention to incoming data that we believe is less important
·         Our cultural conditioning and life experience find ways to organize and sort through all we perceive as we encounter it, and we base our reaction on prior education or experience in dealing with the matter
·         Over time we process information like this on a seemingly unconscious basis as we learn to routinely move through our 3 Dimensional environment through the 4th Dimension of time
